Holistic health and wellness have been a long-time passion for Michelle. She is a Reiki Master, Certified Health Coach via the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, student of local medicinal plants and a home herbalist, DoTerra Wellness Advocate, Forks over Knives Plant-Based culinary class graduate and has had an active Yoga and meditation/mindfulness practice.
After experiencing many losses Michelle is also a grief advocate and a volunteer HOPE Mentor with the MISS Foundation and actively participates in a Support Group for Bereaved Moms. Having holistic tools to cope with life’s challenges – especially traumatic loss, has added so much comfort and support. Dr. Amanda Holmes and her team have been and continue to be an integral part of her journey.
Michelle was born in Colorado and holds many fond memories of camping, hiking, and exploring nature. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University, she traveled for work and fortuitously landed on St. Croix in 1990. Michelle fell in love with the island and even more so the people and made it her permanent home. The next 30 years were busy raising two sons and running the family water sports business at Hotel on the Cay. She became a certified windsurfing instructor, guided a variety of water tours/activities and truly enjoyed helping others have a safe and intimate experience in our beautiful turquoise waters.
“Having the opportunity to connect with others who share this passion for wellness is a dream come true and I am honored to be part of the Studio 360 family.” ~Michelle
